What will my appoinment cost?

In most cases, $80.

Within our regular service area, we charge $80 per hour with a one-hour minimum. And 72% of the time, we are able to complete all of the work within that first hour. We make this claim based on real statistics of our actual past work. We’re very proud to save you money by being so efficient.

If you’re concerned with how long your computer repair appointment will take, just give us a call. We can’t make promises, but we’re happy to give you our best, experienced estimate.

What do I need to have ready for the appointment?

First, please have an of-age adult on the premises at all times. We’re happy to be supervised (in fact, we prefer it) so that we have you at hand to answer any questions we come across. Plus, we love to be able to answer your questions during the appointment.

Second, please have the computer accessible and remove pets from the area (we’ll get your work done faster this way). Please do not unplug the cords or take the computer apart; we’d like to see it just as it was when the problems occurred.

Third, please have payment ready. We require full payment at the time of service.

How qualified is my technician?

In pursuit of the greatest quality service possible, currently all of our appointments are conducted by Jesse Mueller (our lead technician) himself. We welcome you to read his bio. He has been in the technology field for over a dozen years and posesses a rare natural talent for computer repair. Since BlueScreen's founding, he has worked exclusively for us. In that time, day in and day out, he has served thousands of computer systems with an immense diversity of issues—and has done so on-site, on-demand, in front of our customers, and without back-up support. Our statistics of service attest to his great capability and track record. He is, quite simply, a full expert.

In many computer repair companies, if such a true expert is on staff, he or she is retained as a kingpin to support and advise the less experienced technicians that actually perform service calls. BlueScreen Computer does not work this way. We value you, your needs, and your time, and are unwilling to expand our business by sending less experienced technicians to your door. Therefore, to deliver to you most robust talent that can be had, we are very pleased to dispatch Jesse Mueller in person for every on-site service call.

How do I schedule an appointment?

The easiest and fastest way is to call us at 540-975-5000. Please leave us a message if necessary. Note that we are often in service appointments during work days; however, we try to return your call within about an hour during business hours.

We discourage setting appointments by e-mail. Sometimes our schedule changes rapidly, and it is impossible for us to hold times open while we wait for your confirmation.
