Rates

Our rates are simple: We charge $80 per hour. There are no travel charges within our large service area.

It doesn't matter what your specific issues are.  It doesn't even matter if you have multiple computers for us to work on at once. There are no separate diagnosis fees, regardless of how complicated or numerous the problems are. In short, we'll be happy to handle whatever your computers throw at us.

On occasion, we offer discounts or special offers to our Facebook fans. Please become a fan of BlueScreen Computer on Facebook in order to receive these offers.

Services

BlueScreen Computer provides a complete spectrum of computer services for home computers and small offices. In short, we can handle any computer need that any home or small business may encounter. Some of our more common requests include:

• remove viruses, spyware, and rootkits
• speed up slow computers
• network homes and offices
• share files and printers across networks
• set up data back-ups
• rescue data (including music and photos) or transfer data to a new computer
• diagnose and replace failed components
• build new custom computers
• upgrade computers
• point out useful (and usually free!) tools to help with your tasks
• install internet service (including DSL modems, cable modems, and satellite modems)
• track down bugs and software conflicts and fix them
• and much more; please feel free to call us to describe your situation

We are happy to work on Apple computers as well as any brand of PC running any version of Windows.

All of our services are provided in person at your location. We can not accept drop-off computers for repair. We also do not provide phone-based support or online remote-control type support. We find these methods are not conducive to providing the highest quality service, and they do not allow us to solve all types of computer problems.

Service Area

BlueScreen Computer serves all parts of Shenandoah County, Frederick County, Warren County, and the City of Winchester with no travel charges:

BlueScreen Computer's normal service area for computer repair includes the following towns and cities in the Northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia: Basye, Bentonville, Cross Junction, Edinburg, Fishers Hill, Fort Valley, Front Royal, Lebanon Church, Linden, Maurertown, Middletown, Mount Jackson, New Market, Orkney Springs, Quicksburg, Star Tannery, Stephens City, Stephenson, Strasburg, Toms Brook, Winchester, Woodstock, and Zepp.

Service to Other Areas:

Based on time availability, we can at times serve the following areas for the additional travel charges listed below. Out-of-area service calls are billed at $100 per hour.

Timberville - $25
Broadway - $50
Luray (in town only) - $50
White Post - $25
Boyce - $50
Berryville - $50

Business Hours

We typically schedule appointments from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm. Our appointments are scheduled for a time window (for example, "We will arrive between 8:00 and 10:00"). This allows us to balance being timely for you with having leeway to stand by our clients for longer when they need it.

On average, we are able to schedule appointments within 2-3 business days.

To Cancel an Appointment

Please call us immediately at 540-975-5000 to cancel. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel. Unfortunately, we must bill the full amount for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance because we will not have have enough notice to use that time for another client.
