Computer repair is a complex field that requires a great deal of expertise—and unfortunately, it's not always easy to tell which technicians are truly great until you work with them. Consider how many skills go into top-notch computer repair:
- the ability to diagnose and repair common problems
- a dogged thoroughness to get to the bottom of severe or unusual issues
- constant education to stay current on the latest in both systems and malware infections
- on-the-spot efficiency to get the work done without charging more hours than are necessary
- excellent personal organization to arrive when expected with all the materials needed for every job
- clear, prompt communication to explain what went wrong and help you protect against recurrences
- unmitigated professionalism to get the work done right on the first appointment
- human kindness to treat you with the respect and privacy you deserve
